The Absolute Meaning of the Word of God
Revelation 22:13
I am alpha and omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Here is the meaning of the written Greek words from Revelation 22:13:
(ego) I (eimi) am (a) the first letter of the Greek alphabet (kai) and (omega) the last letter of the Greek alphabet, (arche) the beginning and origin of that which commences (kai) and (telos) the termination of that when it is finished, (protos) the first in time and place of the earth (kai) and (eschatos) the last in time and in series of places of the earth.
The Gospel According to John
1) (amen) Surely, truly and of a truth (amen) with absolute trust and confidence (lego) I teach and say (humin) to you:
(me) He that does not (eiserchomai) arise to be born and come before the public into life and enter in (dia) through (thura) the door, the entrance (eis) into (probaton) the sheep’s (aule) sheepfold;
(alla) But (anabaino) rises up (allachothen) from another place, (ekeinos) he (esti) is (kleptes) an embezzler, thief and pilferer;
This name is transferred to false teachers, who do not care to instruct men, but abuse their confidence for their own gain.
(kai) And (lestes) he is a robber by fraud, a freebooter, which is a pirate that plunders, and a brigand, which is a bandit who usually lives in a gang and lives by pillaging.
The sheepfold is the uncovered space around a house that is enclosed by a wall, where the sheep’s stables stand. It is a roofless enclosure created by a wall in the open country, where the flocks are herded by night.
2) (de) But (eiserchomai) he that arises to be born and comes before the public into life and enters in (dia) through (thura) the door, the entrance where the sheep go in and out by the name of him who brings salvation to those who follow his guidance;
(esti) He is (poimen) the shepherd (probaton) of the sheep.
The tasks of a Near Eastern shepherd was to watch out for enemies trying to attack the sheep, defend the sheep from attackers, heal the wounded and sick sheep, find and save lost or trapped sheep and love them, sharing their lives and so earning their trust.
In a more modern time, during World War II, a shepherd was a pilot who guided another pilot whose plane was partially disabled back to it’s origin, either its base or carrier, by flying alongside him to maintain visual contact.
3) (touto) To this one (thuroros) does the door keeper, which is the porter, (anoigo) opens to him;
(kai) And (probaton) the sheep (akouo) hear him, comprehends and understands (autos) his (phone) voice and speech:
(kai) And (kaleo) he calls aloud and utters in a loud voice (idios) his own (probaton) sheep (kata) through (onoma) a name, (kai) and (exago) (autos) then leads them out.
4) (kai) And (hotan) as soon as (ekballo) he draws out and extracts (idios) his own (probaton) sheep, (poreuomai) he pursues the journey on which he has entered (emprosthen) in the presence of (autos) them, (kai) and (probaton) the sheep (akoloutheo) join him as his attendant and accompany (autos) him:
(hoti) Because (eido) they know and understand him, have regard for him, cherish and pays attention to (autos) his (phone) voice and speech.
5) (de) And (allotrios) a stranger that is not of that family, is an enemy to the sheep, (ou me) and they will not (akoloutheo) follow a enemy, (alla) but (pheugo) they will flee away from them and escape safely out of danger (apo) from (autos) them:
(hoti) Because (ou) they do not (eido) know or understand (phone) the sound of their voice and the speech (allotrios) of these strangers that are not of their family, for they are enemies to the sheep.
6) (taute) This one (paroimia) extended and elaborate metaphor through a parable, did Jesus (epo) speak (autos) to them:
(de) But (ekeinos) they (ou) did not (ginosko) learn to know or understand (tis) who (en) it was (hos) that (laleo) he spoke of (autos) to them.
7) (oun) With this being so, Jesus (epo) said (autos) to them (palin) again:
(amen) Surely, truly and of a truth (amen) with absolute trust and confidence (lego) I teach and say (humin) to you;
(hoti) That (ego) I (eimi) am (thura) the door, the entrance (probaton) for the sheep.
8) (pas) All (hosos) whoever (erchomai) came before the public (pro) before (emou) me (eisi) are (kleptes) embezzlers, thieves and pilferers, they are false teachers, who do not care to instruct men, but abuse their confidence for their own gain;
(kai) And (lestes) they are robbers by fraud, freebooters, which are pirates that plunder, and brigands which are bandits who usually live in a gang and live by pillaging:
(alla) And (probaton) these sheep (ou) do not (akouo) (autos) give ear to their teaching.
9) (ego) I (eimi) am (thura) the door, the entrance:
(dia) Through (emou) me, (ean) if (tis) any one (eiserchomai) enters in to come before the public, (sozo) he will be delivered from the penalties of the Messianic judgment and saved from the evils which obstruct the reception of the Messianic deliverance;
(kai) And (eiserchomai) he will enter into a house (kai) and (exerchomai) go out of the assembly of that house to forsake it and come forth from their privacy and into the world, before the public;
(kai) And (heurisko) he will find (nome) pasturage, which is food, and he will not be in want for the needful supplies for true life.
10) (kleptes) Embezzlers, thieves and pilferers, which are false teachers (erchomai) come before the public, (ou) (ei me) only (hina) to (klepto) take the sheep away through theft, (kai) and (thuo) only to slay, kill, slaughter (kai) and (apollumi) give them over to eternal misery in hell to render them useless and to destroy them:
(ego) I (erchomai) am come before the public (hina) so that (echo) these sheep will be closely joined with (zoe) life, the absolute fullness of life which belongs to God, life real and genuine, a life active and vigorous that is devoted to God and lasts forever, (kai) and (echo) to have (perissos) it over and above, more than is necessary, with superiority and advantage.
11) (ego) I (eimi) am (kalos) such as one aught to be by reason of the purity of heart and life, the good (poimen) shepherd:
(kalos) The good (poimen) shepherd (tithemi) lays aside (autos) his (psuche) life (huper) for the sake of (probaton) the sheep.
12) (de) But (on) he that is (misthotos) hired, (kai) and (ou) is not (poimen) a shepherd, (hos) who (idios) his own (probaton) sheep (eisi) are (ou) not his, (theoreo) sees with his eyes (lukos) the wolf, which are cruel, greedy and grasping men, especially for money, and are willing to use unscrupulous means to obtain what is desired and they are destructive men;
When these that are hired sees the wolves (erchomai) come into being, arise, come forth, show themselves and find a place of influence for them to be established;
(kai) Without a doubt (aphiemi) they abandon and leave destitute (probaton) the sheep (kai) and (pheugo) they flee away and vanish;
(kai) And (lukos) the wolves (harpazo) (autos) seize the sheep in order to eagerly claim them for themselves, (kai) and (skorpizo) then scatters them abroad so that others may collect (probaton) these sheep for themselves.
13) (de) And (misthotos) these hired ones (pheugo) flee away and vanish (hoti) because (misthotos) they are hired, (kai) and (ou) they do not (melo) care (peri) about (probaton) the sheep.
14) (ego) I (eimi) am (kalos) the good (poimen) shepherd (kai) and (ginosko) I am made known (emos) by my sheep, (kai) and (ginosko) I am known (hupo) by (emos) my sheep.
15) (kathos) Just as (pater) the Father (ginosko) knows (me) me, (kago) in a like manner (ginosko) I know (pater) the Father:
(kai) And (tithemi) I lay aside (mou) my (psuche) life (huper) for the sake of (probaton) the sheep.
16) (kai) And (allos) other (probaton) sheep (echo) lay hold of me, adhere, cling and are closely joined to me, (hos) that (esti) are (ou) not (ek) out of (taute) that (aule) house itself:
(kakeinos) They also (dei) are a necessity established by the counsel and decree of God (me) that I (ago) lead, guide and direct them, (kai) and (ginomai) that there be made (mia) only one (poimne) flock of sheep (heis) and one (poimen) shepherd.
17) (touto) (dia) Because of this one reason (pater) does the Father (agapao) dearly love (me) me, (hoti) because (ego) I (tithemi) lay aside (mou) my (psuche) life, (hina) so that (lambano) I can take it up with my hand and lay hold of a person in order to use (autos) him (palin) anew.
18) (oudeis) No one (airo) removes (autos) him (apo) from (emou) me, (alla) but (ego) I (tithemi) (autos) make him for my self and for my use in order to set him forth, establish and ordain him (apo) out of (emautou) myself.
(kai) And (echo) I have (exousia) the power of choice and liberty of doing as I please (lambano) (autos) to take him upon myself (palin) anew.
(taute) This is (entole) a commandment (lambano) that I have received (para) from (mou) my (pater) Father.
19) (oun) With this being so, (ginomai) There became (schisma) a rent, a metaphor for a division and dissension (palin) again (en) with the Jews, (dia) by reason of (toutous) these (lego) sayings.
20) (de) And (polus) many (ek) out of (autos) them (lego) said:
(echo) He is closely joined with (daimonion) an evil spirit and is a minister for the devil (kai) and (mainomai) he is mad, of one who so speaks that he seems not to be in his right mind:
(tis) Why (akouo) give ear to the teaching of (autos) him?
21) (allos) Others (lego) said:
(tauta) These (esti) are (ou) not (rhema) the words (diamonizomai) of one under the power of a demon.
(daimonion) An evil spirit (me) is not (dunamai) able, capable, strong and powerful enough (anoigo) to open (ophthalmos) the eyes (tuphlos) of the physically blind / mentally blind.
22) (de) And (ginomai) this happened (en) in Jerusalem (egkainia) at the dedication consecration.
(kai) And (en) it was (cheimon) the winter season.
This annual feast is celebrated eight days beginning in the 25th of Chislev (middle of our December)
23) (kai) And Jesus (peripateo) conducted himself (en) in (hieron) the temple (en) in Solomon’s (stoa) porch
24) (oun) With these things being so, the Jews (kuklo) encircled and surrounded (autos) him (kai) and (lego) said (autos) to him:
(heos) Until (pote) when and at what time (airo) will you take him upon your self and carry (hemon) us off (psuche) to life?
(ei) If (su) you (ei) are (Christos) Christ the anointed Messiah, (epo) tell (hemin) us (parrhesia) openly and publicly.
25) Jesus (apokrinomai) answered (autos) them:
(
epo) I told (humin) you (kai) and (ou) you did not (pisteuo) believe me:
(ergon) The works (hos) that (ego) I (poieo) perform (en) in (mou) my (pater) Fathers (onoma) name, (tauta) these (martureo) give their testimony (peri) about (emou) me.
26) (alla) But (ou) you did not (pisteuo) believe me, (gar) for (este) you are (ou) not (ek) out of (emos) my (probaton) sheep, (kathos) just as (epo) I said (autos) to you.
27) (emos) My (probaton) sheep (akouo) give ear to my teaching and understand (mou) my (phone) speech, (kago) and even I, this selfsame I (ginosko) know (autos) them, (kai) and (akoloutheo) they join me as my disciple and follow (moi) me:
28) (kago) And even I, this selfsame I (didomi) (autos) give them the reward of (aionios) eternal (zoe) life;
(kai) And (ou me) they will never, certainly not, not at all and by no means (eis) for (aion) eternity (apollumi) perish, be lost, ruined or destroyed (kai) and (ou) (tis) no one (harpazo) (autos) is able to snatch them (ek) out of (mou) my (cheir) hand.
29) (mou) My (pater) Father (hos) that (didomi) (moi) gave them to me of his own accord, (esti) is (meizon) greater and stronger than (pas) all;
(kai) And (oudeis) no one (dunamai) is able, capable, strong and powerful enough (harpazo) to seize them and eagerly claim them for themselves (ek) out of (mou) my (pater) Fathers (cheir) hand.
30) (ego) I (kai) and (pater) my Father (esmen) are (heis) one.
31) (oun) Therefore the Jews (palin) again (bastazo) picked up (lithos) stones (hina) in order to (lithazo) (autos) either wound or kill him.
32) So Jesus (apokrinomai) (autos) responded to their actions:
(polus) Many (kalos) good (kalos) works (deiknuo) have I exposed to your eyes that give’s you evidence and proof of a thing and have shown you by words and teach (humin) you (ek) out of (mou) my Father;
(dia) On this account, (poios) which (autos) of those (ergon) works (lithazo) do you stone (me) me for?
33) The Jews (apokrinomai) answered (autos) him (lego) saying:
(peri) On account of (kalos) good (ergon) works (ou) we do not (lithazo) stone (su) you, (alla) but (peri) because of (blasphemia) your slander and reproachful speech that is injurious to Gods divine majesty;
(kai) And (hoti) because (su) you, (on) that is (anthropos) a human being, (poieo) declare (seautou) yourself (theos) to be God.
34) Jesus (apokrinomai) responded to (autos) them:
(esti) Is it (ou) not (grapho) written down (en) in (humon) your (nomos) law, (ego) I (ego) said (este) that you are (theos) gods?
35) (ei) If (epo) I said (ekeinos) that they are (theos) gods, (pros) with (hos) who (logos) the sayings of God, decrees, mandates, orders and moral precepts that are given by (theos) God (ginomai) came into existence, (kai) indeed (graphe) the Scripture (ou) cannot (dunamai) be able to be (luo) overthrown;
36) (humeis) You (lego) say of him (hos) who (pater) the Father (hagiazo) has hallowed, purified and separated from profane things, (kai) and (apostello) has sent him in a state of liberty (eis) into (kosmos) the world, (hoti) that (blasphemia) he slanders and speaks reproachfully injurious to Gods divine majesty;
(hoti) Because (epo) I said:
(eimi) I am (huios) the Son (theos) of God?
37) (ei) If (ou) I do not (poieo) perform (ergon) the works (mou) of my (pater) Father, (me) Do not (pisteuo) believe (moi) me.
38) (de) But (ei) if (poieo) I do perform them, (kan ) even if (me) you do not (pisteuo) believe (emoi) me, (pisteuo) believe (ergon) the works:
(hoti) Because (pater) the Father (en) is in me, (kago) and I am (en) in (autos) him.
39) (oun) Therefore (zeteo) they sought (palin) again (piazo) to lay hold of (autos) him:
(kai) And (exerchomai) he went forth from them and escaped (ek) out of (autos) their (cheir) hand,
40) (kai) And (aperchomai) he departed (palin) again (peran) to the other side of the Jordan river , (eis) into (topos) the city (hopou) where John (proton) first (baptizo) baptized, (en) where Jesus was, (kai) and (ekei) there in that place (meno) he remained.
41) (kai) And (polus) many (erchomai) came from one place to another (pros) to (autos) him (kai) and (lego) said (hoti) that John (men) truly (poieo) performed (oudeis) not a single (semeion) wonder or miracle:
(de) But (pas) everything (hosos) that John (epo) spoke (peri) concerning (toutou) this man (en) was (alethes) true.
42) (kai) And (polus) many (pisteuo) believed (eis) on (autos) him (ekei) there in that place.
We do always give thanks to God for all things in the heaven above and the earth down below, for the things we understand and the things we will never know, for manifesting the words of his mouth into flesh that he promised of Old in the Lord Jesus Christ and for the hope of his promise that was given to us in these following words of God...Jesus prayed to his father when his hour had come and he said: Father, glorify YOUR NAME, and a voice came out of heaven as the sound of thunder, and the Father said: I have and I will do it AGAIN...thank you God for your word that you manifested in human flesh in Lord Jesus Christ, which was, which is and which is soon to come the Almighty, so be it, let it be so, may it be fulfilled...in the NAME of the FATHER given to Mary by the messenger of God Gabriel before Lord Jesus was even concieved in her womb. In the name JESUS do we pray always...Amen.
